Mazzaferrata 2016 is impenetrable ruby red, of great visual impact with almost purple reverberations. On the nose it is very intense and very complex, with sensations that begin with black fruits, such as blueberry and plum juice and then decline with spicy and toasted notes. The spiciness is impressive with scents of cardamom, cumin, and ends with shades of bitter chocolate and sweet tobacco. The taste is powerful and rich, the tannins are tight and silky. In the mouth, fruity blueberry notes and toasted and spicy notes come back to life. A wine with a great personality!
